Filipinos Come Together

San Francisco Chronicle 06/10/1998 --  The San Francisco Chronicle talks up our appearance at Fiesta Filipina, celebrating the 100th year of Philippine independence. Jesse Hamlin writes:

The fiesta will highlight native Philippine cultures and the influences of Chinese and Arab traders, Spain, Mexico and the the United States. In addition to Filipino artists—among them the Likha Filipino Folk Ensemble and the San Francisco disco diva Jocelyn Enriquez—festivalgoers will hear Pete Escovedo's Latin jazz band and Brazilian and Cuban music.
