The Oakland Raiders staged its first Filipino Heritage Games as it won 16-13 versus the New York Jets on 19 October 2008 at the McAfee Coliseum, Oakland, California. During the pre-game, Filipino American Boxer Ana "The Hurricane" Julaton, ranked top 10 in the World Super Bantamweight Division by the World Boxing Council, was recognized at mid-field by Filipino leaders led by Philippine Consul General to San Francisco Marciano A. Paynor, Jr., accompanied by Deputy Consul General Antonio A. Morales and Vice Consul Leah Victoria C. Rodriguez. Likha-Pilipino Folk Ensemble presented a folk dance performance at the pre-game show.
