Aryty.com watches LIKHA perform at the San Francisco Giants San Francisco Heritage Night. Manny Pacquiao threw out the first pitch and LIKHA took to the field for a short pre-game presentation.
Bay area Filipinos came from near and far to attend the San Francisco Giants' Filipino Heritage night and to see our boxing idol, Manny Pacquiao throw the ceremonial first pitch of the game against San Diego.
Ang saya-saya! It was great to see so many Filipinos wearing San Francisco Giants jerseys, showing their full support for the local baseball team. The night was extra special for all who attended, whether or not they came from Filipino ancestry. The best things about Filipino culture were presented in a venue where everybody could enjoy the warm weather and festive atmosphere of game day.
The event was well organized. Manny Pacquiao was scheduled to throw the first pitch at exactly 7:05 pm. Before that, the fans were treated to a wonderful cultural show by the excellent Likha Dancers in beautiful, bright traditional Filipino tribal costumes.
